About Our Online Schools: Live Classes
Boland Companies Ltd owns and runs four online schools: Cambridge Online School & College International, International Online School & College in Oxford, Eureka Learning, and Acorns To Oaks. Acorns To Oaks is an online primary school for students aged 5 to 11, specialising in children's education, and the other three schools provide online education for primary school, secondary school, and sixth form for students aged 5 to 18.

Our online schools provide high-quality online education to students internationally, with live classroom lessons, an easy-to-use online learning platform, on-demand recorded lessons and resources, and continuous student and parent support. We create a flexible and personalised learning approach with small class sizes, with ten or fewer students per class and lessons tailored to meet students' learning needs.​​​​
Personalised Learning
Our online classes have a maximum of ten students per class to create a personalised learning approach. This provides students with the opportunity to ask more questions and receive more individual support.
Teachers use homework and in-class activities to assess students' abilities in specific topics, which they then use to personalise lessons to focus on weaker areas so students can acquire a better understanding and build their confidence.
Experienced Teachers
Our online teaching team is highly qualified and experienced in teaching a range of subjects to children of all ages. Our teachers take pride in the work they do and share a passion for developing student's knowledge as they progress throughout their education.

Many of our teachers are qualified to teach more than one subject, and they provide our students with a high standard of education to ensure their success in future endeavours.
Flexible Education
Our online schools strive to create a flexible learning approach as students can choose how many subjects they want to learn and whether to study full-time or part-time.

Our online lessons are also recorded and uploaded to a folder that students are provided 24/7 access to on our online learning platform. Students can use on-demand lessons to catch up on any missed lessons or as an alternative to the live classroom lessons if they are unable to attend at the scheduled times.
Internationally Accessible
Our online schools are internationally accessible as everything is fully online-based. This provides students with the opportunity to communicate with peers from around the world and to make new friends from different cultures and religions. This helps students to develop an understanding of the wider world.

With fully online-based learning, students also don't have to travel to access their education. Meaning lessons can be attended from anywhere with an internet connection.
The Differences Between Our Schools
Our online schools offer the same base package with live classroom online lessons, access to the platform and our dedicated helpdesk, and termly parent-teacher meetings. There are, however, differences in the support given around the live lesson classes, which is reflected in the difference in prices. Some packages include free PSHE classes, free additional private lessons and reduced private lessons after that, quicker and more customised support, extracurricular activities, and dedicated tutoring/mentoring. Depending on the support students require, they can choose what they need and which school would be the best fit for them, considering their budget and what they hope to receive outside of lessons.
Self-Study Schools: Affordable Learning
How do our self-study schools work?
​Students begin by picking the subjects they would like to study through our website, where they can choose to purchase the course (usually for a one-off cost). This provides full access to the selected courses, allowing learners to get started with their studies whenever they like. Every course provides high-quality learning materials and resources, and has been carefully designed by experienced teachers. Self-study courses provide more flexibility around students' schedules, allowing them to learn at a pace that suits them and at a convenient time. Our courses can be joined at any time, allowing students to get started with their learning at the soonest possible date. The content included in each course varies per subject, but pupils will have access to a wide selection of material to help them excel and progress academically.
What courses do our self-study schools offer?
Our self-study schools offer a wide selection of International GCSE/IGCSE and A-Level subjects for the Cambridge International and Pearson Edexcel International exam boards. Which exam board pupils choose to study towards will be determined based on the subjects they want to take, exam centres local to them, and the content they would like to cover. Both Cambridge and Edexcel are accepted and acknowledged worldwide, making them optimal choices for students' futures. The subjects available range from English and mathematics to business studies and economics.
Are there additional add-ons available?
​Yes! Our self-study schools offer additional tutor support, which provides students with marked assignments and feedback, email support, and more tailored guidance. We also offer private lessons, which are held one-on-one and are designed to help students progress, build understanding, and prepare for exams. Students can choose between subject tutors and general tutors depending on their budget and what they are looking for help with. Subject tutors help with a specific subject, whereas general tutors help students across all of their subjects and support them in career planning as well.

Self-study courses are highly convenient for students because they offer flexibility in both schedule and pace, allowing learners to study whenever and wherever it suits them best. This is especially beneficial for those balancing education with work, family, or other commitments.
